Summary:

The purpose of Southern Arizona Coaches Institute is to raise the level of talent amongst athletes by sharing knowledge with coaches from some of sports’ brightest minds.

Guests will learn from some of baseball’s brightest minds about hitting fundamentals, fielding, pitching, practice management, and many more topics. Jerry Stitt says, “My goal is to improve the level of baseball in Southern Arizona by improving the level of coaching.”

 Attendees can look forward to hearing from special guests such as Kevin Long (Hitting Coach, Washington Nationals ), Brent Strom (Pitching Coach, Houston Astros ), Jay Johnson (Head Baseball Coach, University of Arizona ), Chip Hale (Bench Coach, Washington Nationals ), George Arias (former MLB player ), Gil Heredia (former MLB player ), Shelley Duncan (former MLB player/Field Coordinator, Toronto Blue Jays ), Ken Jacome (Head Baseball Coach, Pima Community College), Victor Solis  (Head Baseball Coach, Paradise Valley Community College) and many more that will be announced at a later date.
