MLK Basketball Classic
The MLK Basketball Classic will take place on Monday, January 20, 2025, at McKale Center on the University of Arizona campus. Nine basketball games were played to celebrate the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday.

8:00 AM – Elementary School Exhibition
9:00 AM St. Augustine vs Desert Christian – Girls
10:30 AM Santa Rita vs Bisbee – Boys
12:00 PM Buena vs Rincon/University – Girls
1:30 PM Coolidge vs The Gregory School – Boys
3:00 PM Pueblo vs Catalina Foothills – Girls
4:30 PM Palo Verde vs Sabino – Boys
6:00 PM Sahuaro vs Mica Mountain – Girls
7:30 PM Salpointe vs Tucson High – Boys
The day will include the awarding of scholarships to students and the honoring of high school staff who have demonstrated the values expressed by Dr. King.
